During the PADI Night Diver Specialty, you’ll learn how to dive safely and confidently at night while discovering fascinating marine life that only appears after the sun goes down.
Even if you’ve dived the same reef many times before, a night dive reveals a completely different perspective. Under the glow of your dive light, the ocean becomes mysterious, calm and incredibly alive.
Night diving quickly becomes one of the most memorable experiences for many divers.
What you will learn
Scuba diving at night teaches you to pay attention to details that are often missed during daytime dives.
During the course you will learn:
• Light handling and underwater communication techniques
• Entering and exiting the water safely at night
• Navigation in low-light conditions
• Buoyancy control and situational awareness in darkness
• Identifying how marine plants and animals change behavior at night
Course Structure
The PADI Night Diver Specialty includes:
• Knowledge development with PADI eLearning
• 3 open water night dives •
Instructor briefings and practical training
Your instructor will guide you step-by-step so you feel comfortable and confident diving after dark.

Start the course anytime with PADI eLearning and complete the theory online at your own pace before arriving at the dive center.
Once you finish the theory, you will complete your three night dives with your instructor in Ouranoupoli, Halkidiki.
