After your first scuba dives, many divers feel the curiosity to go deeper. The deep environment offers unique underwater landscapes, different marine life encounters and a completely new diving experience.
During the PADI Deep Diver Specialty, you will learn the techniques, planning procedures and safety considerations required for dives between 18 and 40 metres, always under the direct supervision of your PADI Instructor.
What You Will Learn
During this specialty course you will gain practical knowledge and real diving experience including:
• Deep dive planning and organization
• Gas supply management and air consumption awareness
• Buddy contact and communication procedures
• Buoyancy control at depth
• Understanding nitrogen narcosis and depth awareness
• Use of specialized deep diving equipment
• Safe ascent procedures and depth limits
The course includes four deep training dives, allowing you to apply techniques in real diving conditions around Ammouliani and Halkidiki.
Academic
Knowledge development can be completed online through PADI eLearning before your arrival, allowing you to begin your training already prepared for the dives.
If preferred, theory sessions may also be completed during the course at our dive center, guided step by step by your instructor. This flexible structure allows you to learn at your own pace while maximizing your in-water training time.
