Adventure Diver Certification

During the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, divers complete a total of five adventure dives. If you complete the first three adventure dives, you can earn the PADI Adventure Diver certification.

This certification represents an intermediate level and is ideal for divers who would like to gain additional experience before completing the full Advanced Open Water program.

However, most divers choose to continue with all five dives in order to obtain the full Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
